I HEART Fashion I HEART Kids the RECAP!

I HEART Fashion I HEART Kids the most anticipated youth empowered Fashion Show, left the crowd speechless.  With over 75 kids/teens I HEART Fashion I HEART Kids Let the Runway Meet the Cause.
Special guest appearances by NFL Pro Player Kennard Cox of the Seattle Seahawks and Founder of Outside the Huddle Foundation, Inc. which invests in the future of our youth across the country and Kesha Nichols from the new upcoming season of Basketball Wives in Miami. 
"I HEART Fashion.I HEART Kids" also featured a special presentation of the new "Hear the Runway Foundation" founded Dr. Leslie D. Walker. Students that are hard of hearing or deaf  graced the runway with confidence, and sent a message to all about overcoming fears of nonacceptance. This was presented by Kesha Nichols from the new upcoming season of Basketball Wives in Miami.

THE NEXT BIG THING ---- KURTIS TAKES THE STAGE

Kurtis Downer, 16 professional dancer/actor/ male model is new to the modeling industry. However, Entertainment is in his genetics. Kurtis Downer, born to a Puerto Rican/Dominican mother, and his well known Jamaican father, DJ Mikey Mike.  Kurtis father is very well known in the Jamaican community. Kurtis father took over Jamaica radio airwaves and parties with dance-hall music in the early 90’s.

Being surrounded by music all of his life it was inevitable that Kurtis would develop into a talented professional dancer and DJ in training. Kurtis specializes in both hip hop and Jamaican dancing. Recently the teen sensation decided he want to make a career in the entertainment industry. His close family friend Ayecia Nugent signed on as his manager and signed him on to her talent management company 1st Million Management. Kurtis has done commercial voice over work for radio! Kurtis also broke into the film industry this summer.

Kurtis played a dance extra in the feature film Step up Four. He recently ripped the runway for Miami Fashion Designer Expo in their Breast cancer awareness fashion show “Pink hits the Runway”. Kurtis has been involved with Relay for Life since the 6th grade and has been very involved with this charity! Kurtis also manage to find time to plays basketball for Palm Beach Central High School where he currently attends school! There is much more in store for Kurtis. "Brittany Samantha is a 19 year old aspiring model, and comes along with a strong passion for fashion. With her strive to study her craft and progress as a fashion model, she certainly believes she will succeed in her career and refuses to let anyone stop her.

Brittany is currently studying Fashion Design/Marketing at Broward College and looking to transfer to FIT in New York to receive a Bachelors Degree in Fashion Design/Marketing. Originally from New York, she grew up in South Florida and discovered in her high school years that she wanted to be a fashion model. She strongly believes that anyone can be successful in anything they choose to do as long as they set their mind to it and go after it.

Brittany sees Tyra Banks as a role model in the industry because of the hard work she puts in to be successful with many achievements, and she strives to do the same. Being a strong believer in herself and others striving to be successful in life, she understands that hard work truly pays off."
